Firstly, I will spend a long time talking to you about why you want a past lives therapy session. I will find out about the issues you are facing in your life. It’s also important to know about your family, friends and other people in your life as these individuals could show up in your past lives under different names and personas. I get an idea of your existing spiritual beliefs. I will also ask about your previous experience with hypnosis. You can tell me what you hope to receive from the session.
Then we begin the hypnotic induction. It’s important to feel as relaxed as possible, reclining in a chair or lying on a bed. Noise cancelling headphones can be beneficial. My voice guides you into a deeper and deeper level of relaxation. Your brain will sink into theta where you feel totally relaxed and can get in touch with your subconscious mind and Higher Self. We relax each part of your body and use visualisations of pleasant scenes. I often use inductions like walking down a staircase, each step is a year of your life.
We go back to happy scenes from childhood. We might stop off at age eleven and then three. You describe what is happening around you.
Then we go back to the womb. You recall being in the womb and describe what you can feel and hear. From the womb we can make a bridge to a significant past life. You will recall significant aspects of this life and can move forward and back in time. Then we will go to the death scene of that life.
After death you can visit the spirit world. You may meet deceased relatives and spirit guides. Some people see figures from established religious traditions like Jesus or Buddha. You may meet a grandmother or a Native American guide. You can meet your guardian angels who have been watching out for you.
You can meet your Divine Council who will question you about your previous life. You may be given advice by your guides to help you in your current life.
If time allows, it may be possible to go back and visit another past life or even two. Each life will have lessons to help you with your current path.
Then we gently come back to the present moment.
