Hear the Pain

If you have had trauma in your life the first step in healing is to hear the pain. Feel your pain. Lean into it. What is it about? How does it feel? Pain can be a teacher.

Your pain can take many forms. You might feel that you are unloveable. You can’t change. Nobody likes you. You can’t do your job. You can’t be happy. You can’t be abundant. There is something wrong with you. You can’t do anything right.

Have compassion for yourself in your suffering. Explore it. Write it down. Meditate about it.

Go back and discover the source of your pain. For most people it has its roots in childhood.

Recognise that these negative thoughts are just false beliefs. You can change them. You can rewire your brain.

Sit in silence with your eyes closed. Breathe deeply. Notice your breath. Notice how your body feels. Scan each part of your body starting with your scalp and going down to the tips of your toes. Listen to your heart. Examine your thoughts. Have compassion for each thought. Notice how your body feels when you think each thought. Is there tightness and rigidity? Just notice without judgement.

A past lives session can allow you to look at your pain and suffering in a previous life. This experience can help you examine the same patterns in your current life.
