Reincarnation

Openness to the idea of reincarnation is important if you want to have a successful past lives regression session.

Reincarnation, the belief that your soul has lived before and will again, is part of many spiritual traditions such as Buddhism and Hinduism. It was also part of Christianity until references to it were taken out of the Bible by the early Church. It is easier to control people if they think they only have one shot at life. Jesus mentions reincarnation obliquely at points in the Bible. The Jewish leaders ask him if he is the reincarnation of Elijah.

A hypnosis session cannot give you absolute proof of  past lives. It leads to an inner knowing. My past lives were so vivid I had no doubt they were real. Many of my clients have remembered details they couldn’t possible have known. Some can even recognise street names and refer to customs and tools that have long since fallen into obscurity. One client remembered being an indigenous American and could refer to tribal names for landmarks that she could not possible have known.

Science has tended to scoff at the idea of reincarnation but even that is changing. Many children spontaneously remember their past lives without hypnosis and take about them from the age of two onwards. These memories often fade from the age of about seven.

Dr Ian Stevenson, an American psychiatrist, has made a serious academic study of these cases of children talking about past lives and has come to the conclusion that reincarnation is the best explanation. Stevenson’s colleague, Jim B. Tucker, wrote a book about this work called Return to Life.

There are many compelling cases you can read about in various works that persuade you that past lives are possible. You will never know until your try a session yourself.
