I am just back from a little holiday to Sutherland in the north of Scotland. I love Scotland and I used to live there. I am torn between moving back to live permanently in a rural community and conducting all my past lives therapy sessions online or moving nearer to a big city like London so I can see more clients in person. It’s a tough decision and I am not sure what to do for the best. I would get more writing done in rural Scotland and writing is a great love of mine but I also like helping clients.
Sutherland was an amazing part of Scotland. The countryside is beautiful with mountains, lochs and seaside. I always feel inspired by the grandeur of the surroundings and the clean air. As usual, the Scottish weather wasn’t up to much though there was sunshine the temperature was not that high. It’s always a little chilly even in summer. I go back and forth whether I like hot and cold climates. England has been having a heatwave recently and I must admit I have felt too hot down here. As humans we don’t seem to have good temperature regulators – we are either too hot or too cold.
I must admit I feel the Diving much more in a rural place. There is something about quiet and stillness that means you can hear Him speak. There is so much history in Scotland you can feel all the past lives around you. Sadly, there is lots of darkness with bloody battles fought and the Highland Clearances where so many people were sent abroad to leave their crofts forever. There is a brooding sadness in the place but that kind of suits me in many ways.
What do you think? Is rural or city life best?
